DragonWolf
Original mastermind behind the maniacal plot to rule the world, I have since
decided to start small and begin with a magazine.
I have been fascinated by horror since I first picked up the book Cujo,
by Stephen King. I have yet to put that book down, as it clings to me with all of the mystery that makes writing stick to
you like velcro.
I thrive on the mysteries of fantasy, and I have a stern fascination with mythology.
This is why you will find a section entitled A Mythical Moment With DragonWolf in the magazine, where I will discuss
whatever mythological creature or legend that tickles my fancy.
Asides from being the creator of this magazine, I am a full-time college student
intend on getting my Doctorate in Library Science. I hold a various number of jobs outside of school, which narrows down my
time. I am also an adamant writer of short stories, poetry, and novels.
I hope you have a brilliant evening and, as always, beware the shadows.

Origination
Pen'd Darkness was formed within the minds of two life-long friends,
both who hold a love of art within their souls. One an artist, the other a writer, we have joined forces to bring you the
best of both worlds.
The idea was officially born June 30th, 2008 - a perfect end to a
wonderful month. On July 1st, we began this website, and so it has grown within and around us. I hope that it continues to
grow and to be beautiful, in our eyes and in the eyes of all who dwell in the shadows, and who dance in the darkness.

Lone
While I'm not one to elaborate on myself and I do so rarely, I suppose I ought
to offer up some information as to my identity. As my name implies, I am something of a loner when it comes to real life interactions,
whether because I am shy or because I only fully trust someone I have known for a long time.
I have always been interested in the arts, I find alot of inspiration by playing
video games, such as Zelda, Final Fantasy, etc., and immersing myself in their world, getting to know the characters
and their nuances. It is through them that I strive to better my art. I have taken this passion as a life's goal, and am currently
majoring in Graphic Design.
Being an Eagle Scout, I believe the only way to succeed is to keep trying and
pushing yourself to be your best. Of course, you don't have to be an Eagle Scout to do this; just taking pride in your work
will go a long way and I encourage you to.
Just remember to keep the pencils sharpened, the erasers well kneaded,
and the pads of paper shall be filled with all of the pride that you place into its creation.

Our Philosophy
At Pen'd Darkness, we intend to leave a mark upon your mind as effectively
as a pawprint within wet cement. We want to scare you senseless, to leave you wondering the fearsome "what if?"
When you close your eyes, we want you imagination to conjure shadows,
and within these shadows will lurk the demons of our minds, and they will pen darkness into your soul.
